This 2017, the centenary firm celebrates 165 years of history, tradition and Vic Salchichón. And, this April the firm wants to start different commemorative events, and the first one starts in the 65th Conde Godó Championship, which will have placed in Barcelona from 22th to 30th of April. And it will continue in the 31th Salón Gourmets of Madrid that goes from 24th to 27th of April.

Casa Riera Ordeix celebrates 165 years of tradition and passion. And the firm wants to do it with the gastronomy as the main character. So Casa Riera Ordeix wants to approach the gastronomy of Osona in spaces dedicated to delicatessen products as it is the case of the Salón Gourmets of Madrid.

For second year in a row, Casa Riera Ordeix participates in the Salón Gourmets with Cava Mestres. The firm have the spectacular Showcookiny by Àlex Andrés, the chef of VicFood Restaurant of Vic.

During four days, the visitors, who visit the stand of Casa Riera Ordeix (Stand E25, pavilion 4) have the opportunity to taste the traditional Vic Salchichón, the classic Vic Fuet and the delicious Truffled Salchichón. Furthermore, it is possible to discover the innovation tapas of Vic Salchichón and Vic Fuet. The visitors can taste as the tapa called Sponge of Vic Fuet and goat cheese with dried tomato, the “tapa” tartar of “masa madre” of Vic Salchichón, the miniburgers of “masa madre” of Vic Salchichón with “allioli” and sprouts of mustards, and the tapa “Japan Gyoza” crispy and stuffed of Vic Salchichón. All of them combine tradition and innovation.
