Rustic Salchichón is part of the line of products that Casa Riera Ordeix started producing in 1995. They are produced in the company's facilities in Sant Feliu Sasserra, in the region of Bages, step by step.
First we select the highest quality pork. The meat is then ground and mixed with sea salt and black pepper. Once the meat has been well mixed with the spices, we let it stand for some time before stuffing it into natural casings and tying it up.
We then start the meticulous dry curing process, which can last up to two months.
